I find it tirelessly amusing to eavesdrop on other people’s
conversations. Which is good because that’s about all there is to do at this
point waiting in Line.
I don’t really want to go into the back story as to why I am
camping out on the sidewalk to get my children into kindergarten. I’ve had to
do that a lot lately. I’ll post a link to a news story and let a professional handle that.
I thought (hoped)
that it was a joke when I heard the Line started forming yesterday. I broke
down in tears when I found out it was true. This is really happening. I am
going to be sitting on this sidewalk for ten full days. I had been planning for this, knowing that the wait would be several days long. But I had expected maybe 5 days. All planning had to be revisited and rethought-out at a moments notice.
Thankfully my mom was able to get here and secure us a spot. We are the 34th person in Line, 26th
person here for kindergarten. Iris and Asher have their place secured, they are IN. Yes! All we have to do is make sure we don't mess up and lose our place in Line.
God is in control.
God is in control.
