snowy days

we finally did get more than a dusting.  liz and elwood braved the roadways to play with us.  iris still likes to eat the snow better than anything.  though she did pick up the broom and attempt to clean off the porch... so cute!  asher was out for a short while... he is so funny and serious, just took it all in.  i put a couple of flakes on his lips and he licked them off without making the gaggy face he usually does when something foreign hits his tongue.  perhaps another snow connoisseur in the making?
we came inside and made some soupy snow ice cream followed by cheesy broccoli cheese soup.  yum.  i have rediscovered velveeta and i think i am in love.  scary.
