Brief review: First, huge thank you to Katie of Drizzled Joy for letting me borrow her fence and barn backdrop- it worked out nicely and really made the presentation complete. The pops definitely made a good centerpiece/conversation starter. The chocolate cake pops were really good, and I wish I had gotten all of them chocolate, as the vanilla were a bit too gooey for my taste. All of the kids thought they were fun to eat! I do feel the pops would have made better party favors rather than actual birthday cake- hard to place candles to blow out, the bite of cake itself is quite small, and they were too expensive for me to buy enough for every adult to have one. So, in the end,I would certainly recommend them to a friend! Asher thought they were awesome, but if I order them again, I'll know to have a regular cake as well as the pops!
